Drywall, here we come!

Tuesday, January 12: Chris has been working so hard trying to get ready for drywall. Today he finished hooking up the whole-house vacuum unit, doing low-voltage wiring (thanks for your expertise, Adam!), and more electrical with Jesse (thank you! I loved watching your cutie-pies while you helped Chris this afternoon!) And thanks Tim Gokie for helping this evening! Chris loves company, and help. :) (That's a free invite to any guy who wants to get out of the house for a while. !!)
The electrical inspection will be tomorrow, Wed.
Drywall!! is scheduled to be delivered this Monday, Jan. 18th, with the ceiling going up first (hopefully Tues), then insulation Wednesday (the walls and attic), then a few days to heat the house and get the moisture out of the insulation, then the rest will be hung. He expects the drywall to take two weeks. (It will be done by someone else, not us.)
Sunday, we are renting an enclosed trailer from U-haul and taking all our doors, trim, and base to a gentleman in Central City to have him stain them. I am ecstatic about this because a) it means they will be done quickly and look great and b)I don't have to do them!!! cause painting and staining is about the most I do in terms of house help. :) Well, that and cleaning...which the boys and I have been doing yesterday and today.
Wow, I think this is the most exciting post I have done!! Well, since..............the windows went in (that was a huge difference seeing the view!) or since the roof went up (that really made it look like a house!) or since we started digging the foundation (so exciting!) Ok, so there's been a lot of exciting parts to this process: drywall definitely makes the list!
