Monday, Nov. 30: The basement interior walls were never framed (just the exterior and one load-bearing wall down the center). This turned out to be good because although we knew where the bedrooms were going to be, we could take our time deciding what to do with the rest of the space. We determined how big we wanted the storage room to be and then we added a hall closet and opened up the hallway to the bedroom. So Sunday evening and Monday Chris finished framing the basement bathroom, second bedroom, storage room, and closet.

Instead of having a narrow hallway to this north bedroom, we opened it up and also put a closet at the back.
The hall closet: (The door will open out and there will be shelves on the three sides for toys and games.)
