There is a landing then two steps down....as you can see here:
Chris made some temporary stairs for the garage entrance into the house because the old way we got into the house (the kitchen) is now framed and 'closed off.' (It was rainy and obviously I didn't clean the water droplets off my lens before taking the picture!)
