Concrete work

I didn't post about it, but right after completing the second concrete pour it started raining and we covered it with plastic to try and protect the finish. It wasn't damaged too badly but it did end up with a rough finish. Normally this is not a huge deal because it's covered by carpet. But this was the area of the unfinished mechanical/storage room so we wanted it to be smooth for people's feet as well as so it wouldn't trap dirt in all the tiny grooves. So last night (Wed), Chris smoothed it out with this handy contraption---worked perfectly and created a nice smooth finish!
