Downstairs Changes

Nov.: The downstairs bathroom is almost complete, thanks to Chris's dad, Kenny. When they were visiting for Thanksgiving, he installed the sink and tub/shower faucets, hung towel bars, toilet paper holder, put the doorknob on, and cleaned like crazy. So it looks like this: All that is left is to finish painting (never got the corners and final coat), to put on the baseboards, and to hang a mirror.
The next project at our house has begun. This weekend (1-8-11) we cleaned out the two downstairs bedrooms, which had been housing Chris's tools and extra baseboards and doors for the downstairs. So we cleaned out and organized things into the cellar. We want to finish off these two rooms for an office for Chris and a schoolroom for the boys. The small upstairs office room is getting maxed out, so I was telling Chris that something had to go before next year, when Ben will be in preschool and also using it....so he suggested finishing off these downstairs rooms. I'll keep the blog updated on the progress.
